Black holes have an event horizon which means past a certain point
nothing is visible but anything around a black hole can still emit light, in form of x-rays which is a common way of finding black holes
also we can see a black if it is siphoning material off of a star because at a certain point the star will just be consumed and disappear
this video explain nothing but the theory of BH, but theory is hardly the same as cosmic facts. The mind of man can invent whatever in theory, but it done not mean it is real. Science like to explain everything, it try, until a another mind invent a new theory. Science history has been like this for many years, and only in the backmirrow, can a reasonable mind conclude the mistakes.
the point of the video was to say, “there are these things that seem like black holes. We can’t think of anything else to call them, so they are black holes.” yes you are right technically you can’t “see” a black hole but you can see its effects on surrounding objects. In the same way we know that protons are real, we can’t “see” a proton but we can see its effects on surrounding objects
First, there is a huge difference between a BH and Dark Matter as such. This diffrence cause the confusion. A BH is an imposiblity, unless science accept free fantasy as cosmic reality, but a universal Creator, as you know dont play with dice. The imaginary functionality of a BH, as a long elongated torus (the hole) which by its own force (internal gravity), would be able to suck, drag, pull whatever (incl. stars, other galacies and light) into itself, to smash, crush and churn it all into and back to the universal basic elements and then either make it all disappear or throw it all out in the other end, only to repeat the reverse action back into itself again, and so on for all infinity, is an impossibility. Any reasonable mature mind can grasp such concepts. Science would do much better if they as such accepted the cosmic fact of a creator ( any pre title of your choice) and began research into the truth how we, mankind can concieve such a universe of universes, within our minds, souls and personalities on levels higher than only on a material level. It is a rather pity to acknowledge that science still think and in most cases act as if we all live in the Dark Age of Science.
Mathematics, material is indispensable to the intelligent discussion of the material aspects of the universe, but such knowledge is not necessarily a part of the higher realization of truth or of the personal appreciation of spiritual realities. Not only in the realms of life but even in the world of physical energy, the sum of two or more things is very often something more than, or something different from, the predictable additive consequences of such unions. The entire science of mathematics, the whole domain of philosophy, the highest physics or chemistry, could not predict or know that the union of two gaseous hydrogen atoms with one gaseous oxygen atom would result in a new and qualitatively superadditive substance—liquid water. The understanding knowledge of this one physiochemical phenomenon should have prevented the development of materialistic philosophy and mechanistic cosmology.
Technical analysis does not reveal what a person or a thing can do. For example: Water is used effectively to extinguish fire. That water will put out fire is a fact of everyday experience, but no analysis of water could ever be made to disclose such a property. Analysis determines that water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen; a further study of these elements discloses that oxygen is the real supporter of combustion and that hydrogen will itself freely burn.
as far as I understand your some what incoherent “rant” black holes can’t exist, but according to current observations it is the only thing that we can call the objects that we observe, and if you say they don’t exist there is no point in asking the question. Also I never mentioned dark matter at all
Initially, i never asked the question in the first place, i replied to you. Second there is no reason to call critical cosmic thinking a “rant”, since the idea in here is to share views, to exchange cosmic perspectives and to enlighten each other. I mention dark matter because there is great confusion related to what truly is within the universe, and since dark matter is a much more plausible explanation for dark areas ala the talk of black holes, i suggest science to consider this. Your video is to the best of my understanding of it, your attempt to prove the existenc of black holes, but you utterly fail, since you admit it is all a theory. The originator Stephan Hawkings think this is a genius idea, all the people in the science world hail him to be brilliant, he got the Nobel prize and now the guy claim mankind will fly to another ecoplanet only 4ly away within a few decades. Free fantasy, space fatamorgana are all free for everyone to think and imagine, but to understand the cosmos and the cosmic evolution of all actualities, factuals and potentials, as well as the trillions of spiritual personalities who inhabit it, demand a sane and mature mind, a mind free of illusion, greed, material attractions and dreams. A mind which critical can conprehend complexities both witnin the neurochemical matrix of the human mind, as well as with abilities to seek and search for answers, no matter how difficults they may seem to be. Cosmic spirituality within is a need, for the soul to develop and progress and the last part of my last answer to you, illustrated just this.
